About the Book
Understanding Palestine & Israel (Olive Branch Press, 2025) takes on the questions that millions of people began asking after October 7, 2023. What is the Balfour Declaration? What are the Occupied Territories? What role does the U.S. play? Does Israel have the right of self-defense? What were conditions like in Gaza before October 7?
Written in plain, accessible language, the book traces the roots of the conflict from more than a century ago to the present day.
