Maggie LePique

Maggie LePique has been on the radio since the 1980s, when she was spinning bebop and Kansas City jazz on KCUR in the midwest. She moved to LA and became a traffic reporter, winning an LA Broadcaster's Award for her live coverage of the 1992 uprising. She was a regular on The Real Don Steele show on K-Earth 101. Maggie returned to music as KPFK's music director, hosted Global Village from 2003–2009, and now serves as the station's interim General Manager, Music Director, and Promotions Director. Profiles is her latest project—an in-depth look at the artists who shaped a uniquely creative era.

Andrea Love

Andrea Love

Andrea Love is a rock turntablist and media producer based in Los Angeles. She got her start at WWBN in Flint, Michigan, then hosted "Real Rock Radio" on KPFK. Andrea trained at the Beat Junkie Institute of Sound and now mixes, scratches, and loops at venues like The Whisky A Go Go and The Viper Room—she's even opened for Robby Krieger of The Doors. As producer of Profiles, she's helped bring interviews with Serj Tankian, Stanley Clarke, and Jackson Browne to air.
