Live stream program called “Strength Thru Unity”: Black & Brown Lives Sowing the Seed of Change will take place to foster, inspire, and help develop collaborations between Latinos and African Americans for social justice. Panelists include Dr. Benjamin Chavis, organizer of the Million Man March; Dolores Huerta, Dolores Huerta Foundation, Lydia Camarillo, president of the Southwest Voter Registration Education Project; Eva Plaza, esq., former HUD Under Secretary, Fair Housing; Margret Prescod of KPFK-FM and Gilbert Vasquez, chairman of the LA Latino Chamber of Commerce and moderated by Gabriela Teissier, anchor of KMEX-Univision. During “Strength Thru Unity” viewers will be able to ask questions, share experiences, and offer solutions.

Survivors of Military Sexual Assault and their Supporters Rally For Vanessa Guillen in SoCal
Survivors of military sexual assault and their supporters in East LA and Pomona are rallying at military recruitment centers to call attention to what they describe as an epidemic of sexual assault and abuse among service members. Most news coverage of the tragedy hasn’t mentioned letters that Vanessa sent to her mother complaining that a sergeant was sexually harassing her and that she feared retribution. In that correspondence she described Ft. Hood as "an evil place".
"After-Action" Report Ordered to Review Allegations of Police Abuse by LAPD During Recent Mass Protests
The review will include investigations into incidents of excessive force, including the firing of rubber bullets, the use of tear gas; and, the review will include an analysis of whether the police took adequate precautions to stop the spread of COVID-19.
