    Second Saturday host Rick Frystak is a native of Los Angeles and a 40-year music industry veteran. He'll be selecting the finest in jazz, string, vocal and ensemble music on vinyl and CD with an accent on early-morning exploration. In-studio mixes, unique modernist progressive folk and pre-war hillbilly sounds meet contemporary electronics, state-of-the-art dissonance and rare private pressings along with the latest releases will be featured with special guests and giveaways.

    First Saturday of the month: A musical tour de force spanning all eras and areas - Host Tom Nixon of The Nixon Tapes makes the familiar sound unfamiliar and vice versa.

    Second Saturday host Rick Frystak is a native of Los Angeles and a 37-year music industry veteran.
    He'll be selecting the finest in jazz, string, vocal and ensemble music on vinyl and CD with an accent on early-morning exploration. Rare private pressings along with the latest releases will be featured with special guests and giveaways.

    Alternating third Saturday hosts are Art Podell, a bona fide Greenwich Village folkie, one-half of the legendary duo Art and Paul and an original member of The New Christy Minstrels, and Professor’ Jim Moran, host and creator of www.compvid101.blogspot.com, They remember the folk music revival of the early 60’s, that era’s heroes, famous and unsung, the groups that achieved national fame then and the young artists of today who carry the torch.

    Fourth Sat. host Mark Humphrey will remind you of a classic recording made on a show date or another timely tie-in with tunes that tell us how varied and vital our musical roots are.
